Waterwise Gardening Workshop

It’s barely June but my thirsty grass is making me think about ways to save water this summer.

Join us for a Waterwise Gardening Workshop on Saturday June 9th from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at the Oliver Community Garden at the Quail’s Nest Art Centre to learn how to start making those dreams a reality.

Paula is the author of Waterwise Gardening for Home and Small Acreage Owners of the Oliver Area, available for free download, and will be discussing garden plans specific to the South Okanagan and Oliver area.

Email us at olivercommunitygarden (at) or phone Heather at 250-485-2575 to pre-register. Donations gratefully accepted.

Waterwise Gardening

The lovely Paula Rodriguez de la Vega has worked very hard on putting together a comprehensive waterwise gardening handbook and her hard work has finally paid off!  She has asked the Oliver Community Garden to help share the fruits of her labours and make her handbook available for free download. Click here to download a copy of Waterwise Gardening for Home and Small Acreage Owners of the Oliver Area.

Paula will also be presenting our June 9th workshop on Waterwise Gardening.  Check out the handbook and if you want to learn more, email us at olivercommunitygarden (at) to register for the workshop.

Thanks Paula!
